McCrae & McCrae Ltd was established in 1984 when Rod McCrae, formerly of United Auctions, Perth, and his father, formerly Farm Manager for Dupplin Estate, Perth, started up in business.

One of McCrae & McCrae's core businesses is pursuing crop and acquisition compensation claims, for example, over 200 annual water and gas pipeline compensation claims (including 30 claims on the Irish Gas pipeline in Kirkudbrightshire).
